KALE POORI
Kale is also called as “the queen of greens. Kale is low in calorie,
high in fiber and has zero fat. One cup of kale has only 36 calories, 5 grams
of fiber and 0 grams of fat. It is great for aiding in digestion and
elimination with its great fiber content. It’s also filled with so many
nutrients, vitamins, folate and magnesium. Kale is high in Vitamin K,
Vitamin A, Vitamin C .Kale is filled with powerful antioxidants. Kale is
great for cardiovascular support.

Preparation time: 1Hour
Serves – 4
Ingredients:
Kale greens Puree – 3/4 cup
Whole Wheat flour – 2 cups
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Green chilli paste – 1/4 tsp
Oil – for deep frying
Salt – to taste
Preparation
of Kale Poori :
ü Take a pan, add
little water, let the water boil for 5min and blanch the Kale leaves, let it cool down
and make puree.
ü In a bowl, add all
the ingredients except oil and make a tight dough. Smear little oil on the
dough and let it rest for at least 20 mins.
ü Take a small portion
of the dough and make a ball of it.
ü Roll it into a semi
thick roti without dusting flour.
ü Heat oil in a Kadai .
Drop poori one by one and deep fry it till it puffs up and gets cooked well.
ü Remove from oil and
keep it in a paper towel to absorb extra oil.
ü Serve it hot
Tasty Kale poori is ready!
