HERBAL BEVERAGE IN LIEU OF COFFEE / TEA

Hello everyone, this is a Herbal Ayuvedic Beverage which is preparable with in the available ingredients in our own Kitchen. It is very good for health and reduces cholesterol, indigestion, constipation, In addition to that, it controls our Blood Pressure (B.P) to normal levels. 



INGREDIENTS:

1. Coriander Seeds - 50 gms
2. Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - (50 gms)
3. Black Pepper - 50 gms
4. Dried Ginger (Sonti) - 50 gms
5. Carom Seeds (Wamu) - 50 gms
6. Cloves - 10 gms
7. Cardamom (Elaichi) - 20 gms
8. Pipali (Long Pepper Fruit Seeds) - 50 gms
9. Cinnamon (Dhalchina Chakka) - 20 gms




PREPARATION:
  • Fry the above nine items one after the other on a Frying Pan for about 5 minutes in a Low Flame which turns into Brown. 
  • Convert the all the nine fried items into fine powder by the application of Mixer Grinder. 
  • To prepare 1 Glass of Decoction, take half spoon of powder and put a bowl on the stove, pour 1 Glass of water, rinse half spoon of powder in the water and boil for few minutes,
  • Filter the boiled substance and mix Palm Jaggery powder or Jaggery or Sugar and take it as a Drink at Tea Time in lieu of Coffee or Tea.
  • Taking the Decoction with Palm Jaggery (Thaati Bellam) is very good for health.
  • Try it to improve your health
Note: If the item No.8 Pippali is not available, prepare this with other 8 items and use.
