TANDOORI CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

preparation of the Tandoori Chicken Drumsticks

Serves – 4
INGREDIENTS
12 chicken drumsticks
1
tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground
coriander
1 tablespoon Tandoori
Masala
1/2 teaspoon ground
turmeric
1 tablespoon finely
grated peeled fresh ginger garlic cloves
1/4 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon
juice
1/2 cup canola oil Kosher
salt
Freshly ground
pepper
3/4 cup coarsely chopped
cilantro
Preparation of Method :
ü Let the start the 1st marination, Add Lime, salt,
turmeric, chilli powder work for minimum 1 hour.
ü Now Let start the second marination , Whisk into
yogurt, add lemon juice, garlic, salt, ginger.
ü Cut deep slashes into chicken, coat with masala prepared.
ü Cut deep slashes (to the bone) in 3-4 places on the
leg/thigh pieces. Just make 2-3 cuts if you are using separate drumsticks and
thighs. Coat the chicken in the marinade, cover and chill for at least an hour
(preferably 6 hours), no more than 8 hours.
ü Preheat the oven to 220 C/ 430 F. Then place your
chicken drumsticks covered with the amazing flavorful marination into a baking dish and cover them
ü Place the chicken into the oven and bake about 25-30 mins or until it's getting
darker .
ü However, after baking 15 mins. Take out the chicken
and flip the chicken on otherside
ü Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before
serving.
ü Serve hot with fresh coriander or cilantro.
